    The paper “Experimental Evaluation of a Multi-Paradigm, Message-Oriented Mobile Middleware” was accepted for publication at 11th International Conference on Information Technology - New Generations (ITNG 2014).

    This activity is part of the project  “Investigating Algorithms, Techniques and Tools for Search Based Software Engineering” — in portuguese, Investigando Algoritmos, Técnicas e Ferramentas para Engenharia de Software Baseada em Buscas.

  • INES at COMPARCH (2012)

    NES researchers members from the project An Investigation of Methods, Processes, Tools, and Metrics for the evelopment of Software Product Lines (SPL) — in portuguese, Uma Investigação de Processos, Ferramentas e Métricas para o Desenvolvimento de Linhas de Produto de Software, will participate at COMPARCH 2012.

    CompArch is a federated conference series bringing together researchers and practitioners from Component-Based Software Engineering and Software Architecture. It is considered the main conference in the field. During the conference, the researchers will discuss the state-of-the-art in the areas of CBSE and Software Architecture and make contacts for possible colaborations.

  • INES researchers organize the 4th RiSE International Summer School (RISS)

    INES is one of the sponsors of the  4th RiSE International Summer School (RISS). RiSS is the first summer school to discuss the main advances in the field of software reuse with the participation of the main experts in the field from academy and industry.

    It is the second time that RiSS will be held in Salvador. In this year, the list of topics will include: Agile Product Lines, Dynamic Product Lines, Service-Oriented Product Lines, Multiple Product Lines.

    The lecturers are:

    • Frank Maurer (University of Calgary, Canada)
    • Jaejoon Lee (Lancaster University, UK)
    • Mike Hinchey (University of Limerick, Ireland)
    • Juha Savolainen (Principal Member of Research Staff at Nokia)
